Kārlis Auziņš is a bright saxophonist and composer of jazz and contemporary music, who regularly performs and records with foreign and Latvian jazz musicians. Kārlis Auziņš Trio performs his original compositions, which were created under the influence of European and American jazz music traditions, as well as folk music of Latvian and other nations. The compositions of the trio, which also includes double bass player Edvīns Ozols and drummer Kaspars Kurdeko, are the starting point for an improvised journey where the main emphasis is on interaction.

The band Uzvaras Bulvāris (Victory Boulevard) emerged as a protest against the restrictions of the pandemic, during which it was practically impossible to organize rehearsals both in educational institutions and in public rehearsal rooms. At the beginning of this year, the leader of the group, Miķelis Dzenuška, started "illegal" attempts in his apartment, initially playing in pair, but in the end with the participation of seven people. The program includes compositions in jazz fusion and funk style from the musician's first album Pritonā, as well as works not yet played.
